Enrollment & Component Standards Tab 


Enrollment Standards

This section provides information on the typical offering terms, annual offering frequency and standard enrollment numbers for a course. This information can be referenced when planning the number of sections to be offered, class sizes, and room bookings for a course.

How to Edit the Enrollment Standards 

  1. In the Course Profile, click on Enrollment Standards to open the tab.

  2. Click the  button to edit the enrollment standards.

  3. Edit the information. You may select more than one term in the Season field. 

  4. You can click to save your changes. If you do not want to save the information, you can click  and your changes will not be saved.

Component Standards

The Component Standards provides a template of standardized components (e.g. lecture, tutorial) that a course should offer. This information can be used to plan for room bookings, and instructional contact hours.

How to View Standard Meeting Pattern and Resources Notes for Course Component

  1. In the Course Profile, click on Component Standards to open the tab.

  2. Click  to view a course component's standard meeting patterns and resources notes.

  3. A pop-up modal will display with a summary of the course component information.

  4. Click  to exit the modal.

How to Edit the Components Standards

  1. In the Course Profile, click on Component Standards to open the tab.

  2. Click  on Component Standards.

  3. Edit the information.

  4. You can click to save your changes. If you do not want to save the information, you can click  and your changes will not be saved.

How to Add a Course Components Standard

  1. In the Course Profile, click on Component Standards to open the tab.

  2. Click  on Component Standards.

  3. Click   in the bottom right of the pop-up modal.

  4. Choose a Component Type. There cannot be duplicate component types and only one component type can be set to primary per course.

  5. Fill in the other fields.

  6. You can click to save your changes. If you do not want to save the information, you can click  and your changes will not be saved.
