A term appointment may be made where there is a need for the temporary employment of a faculty member and/or where only temporary or contingent funding for the position is available. 

Types of non-continuing appointments include:

  1. Canada Research Chairs (CRC)

  2. Post Retirement Contract

  3. Sessional Instructor Contract

  4. Term Librarian and Archivist

  5. Term Research Faculty

  6. University Research Associate (URA)

  7. Visiting Faculty Appointment (Paid)
